Apparently back in the 1920’s, Ernest Hemingway made a bet for $10 to write a complete story in six words. He won the bet.

What a chilling, thought-provoking, memorable and powerful tale. Its lodged in my mind, and it makes me feel sad.

Telling stories is an art. Evoking any emotional response in others through storytelling, whether good or bad is an art. In the fast paced world we live in we are continually bombarded with information. We can only take so much in. It makes sense to make our communication as clear and concise as we can.

What if you could sum up your story in six words? What words would you choose….? Would they be as accurate as these?
